Hey Y’all! My name is Elijah Frisbie from Utah! Ever since I was young, I was fascinated by the night sky. Just being able to see the Milky Way in its entirety filled me with joy! In 2018, I got my first DSLR camera because I wanted to capture the amazing beauty that is the night sky and help people realize how beautiful Gods creations are. Now I have the amazing opportunity to strike the same awe in your homes!
The Process
All photos are taken and edited by me without the use of AI generation. The stars appear that pretty due to a process known as long exposure photography, which means I stay outside while my camera collects data for minutes of the night sky, pulling out detail and color that can’t be seen with the naked eye. Most of my photos are composites, which means that the foreground is taken at a special time that maximizes detail and the night sky is taken at a different time, and the two images are put together in post. It is a way of portraying a story to help inspire people to look more closely at the world around them.

Other than photography, I like learning languages and making videos about interesting ideas. Right now, I am learning Japanese and hope to be living in Japan sometime in the next year! I am always willing to learn new skills and am always hoping to grow!
